Monika Wincel

Monika Wincel has built a rich career spanning over 20 years in fields such as SME management, entrepreneurship, consulting, and private equity operations.

Her professional journey started in her native Poland, where she took on leadership roles in small and medium-sized enterprises. Her early responsibilities included managing projects and teams across a number of sectors. One notable early project was organizing an inaugural international conference for “Women in Business” for the Polish Management Institute,  which built a base for her commitment to supporting female entrepreneurs.

Monika later moved to Australia where she initially managed a team at a popular Sydney restaurant and ventured into entrepreneurship by starting an e-commerce business. Her path then led her to the Boston Consulting Group, United Nation's World Food Program and to KKR’s Capstone, where she engaged in strategy and transformation projects across various countries (mainly Poland, Australia, UK, Italy, Spain) and sectors. In 2023 Monika founded a traditional Search Fund with an aim of acquiring a high-quality SME in a Polish market.

Educationally, Monika holds an MBA from INSEAD, a master’s degree in Strategic Public Relations from the University of Sydney, and a bachelor's degree in Management and Marketing from the University of Warsaw. 

Outside of her professional life, Monika is deeply committed to community and personal growth. She actively mentors young people, especially those from less privileged backgrounds, helping to guide their professional journeys.
