Valentina Raponi

Valentina Raponi is an Assistant Professor in the Financial Management Department at IESE. She holds a PhD in Finance from the Imperial College Business School, a PhD in Methodological Statistics from the University of Rome La Sapienza, a Master's in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a Master's in Statistics and Economics from the University of Rome La Sapienza, and a Bachelor's in Statistics and Economics from the same institution. 

Her research interests include financial econometrics, asset pricing and portfolio selection, econometric theory, and machine learning. Her dissertation has been published in the Review of Financial Studies. 

Before joining IESE, Valentina also worked as a fellow at the European Central Bank, the Bank of Italy, and the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Italy.
