Marianne Engel
Marianne is a medical doctor pursuing her PhD in gynecology and obstetrics at the Charité Berlin, with a strong focus on surgeries in her field. She has worked on projects ranging from pediatric neuroorthopedics to improving patient care at institutions like the Universitätsklinikum Carl Gustav Carus. Currently, she combines her medical background with healthcare management as a Research Assistant at the Center for Research in Healthcare Innovation Management (CRHIM) at IESE Business School. Starting next summer, Marianne will continue her medical specialization in Switzerland.
In addition to her academic and professional roles, Marianne is the president of the IESE Partners Club for the MBA Class of 2025, where she is working on bringing partners together for a laugh. Outside of work, she takes on challenges like triathlons and long-distance open sea swimming—and loves a solid karaoke night.
